Ugh, good find.  I might have to just take a pass through the XAA 
drivers and clean this up first.

I'm very close to not needing to ship XAA or DRI1 in Fedora anymore, but 
I keep hitting cases like this where they're less optional than you'd 
think.  Presumably nobody currently shipping with --disable-xaa even 
pretends to support more than one driver.
