Yes it does. From the pdf output:

X server version 1.11.0
Copyright © 1994 X Consortium, Inc.
Copyright © 2004 X.org Foundation, Inc.
That makes an association between the server and the X release. The
majority of docs had the Release info (and I have added it to the
remainder of them), it might look odd that the server docs won't have
it. But they are a different class of docs for a different audience.
The association of info might be confusing for v 1.10 and v1.11 both
being associated to the same release as Julien pointed out.
