It still didn't apply directly via git am, but I was able to massage
the diff enough to manually apply.   I also cleaned up some spacing
issues that still remained (such as converting 4 space indents to 3
space indents on a couple of lines).

Applied now:

To ssh://git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/lib/libX11
    c0670e5..aa8bda0  master -> master
