I've mentioned this on dri-devel@ so mostly repeating it here -
consider reaching out to driver author(s)/maintainers wrt re-licensing
relevant drivers.
Gather up as communities (say NetBSD, OpenBSD and FreeBSD) as it would
have greater indication of the relevance and impact such a change will
make.
