Can I use X emulation (Xvfb or vnc) to emulate a touch screen?

I want to emulate touch screen hardware on Xvfb or vnc....(getting the
equivalent of xdotool to "handle touchscreen" is another
matter)

I already have a "touchscreen user simulation" which works with real
hardware through /dev/uinput (on linux).
(where I can simulate the user touches).
