when I ctrl alt backspace within xorg, the image freezes and kb/mouse lock, and
I'm forced to reboot with sysrq.

Switching to console still works fine.
When I kill org from console,  the system stays normal, and I can restart xorg
fine etc.

git mesa , git xf86-ati (radeon), git 1.5 xorg server branch, using EXA, 
"AIGLX"    "1" X700 128MB
