Hi

I hope I`ve reached the correct mailing list. If not please point me to 
a place where I can resend this post.

Is it possible to run xcompmgr on this card with some reasonable 
performance ? By this I mean not having to wait 1-2 seconds before a 
new window appears watching sloooow fade-in animation. Switching 
desktops, resizing or moving windows also is painfuly slow.

After searching the mailing list archives, FAQ and googling I didn`t 
find any concrete answers or errors in configuration on my side. So my 
questions are: 
Is this card even capable of accelerating XRENDER efficiently or is it a 
driver/config issue ?
 Has anoyone managed to run a compositing window manager (maybe my 
choice of xcompmgr is not the right one) on the mentioned card with 
reasonable performance ?

I`m using Gentoo with the following Xorg, drivers, mesa, and xcompmgr
