Wrong resolution and refresh on second screen

I modified xorg.conf according to your indications but nothing changed.
What is strange is that if I move the mouse from the Laptop LCD to the right 
on the external LCD, the pointer is no more the usual arrow, but it becomes a 
strange square full of colored dots.

fb messing up?
