Thank You for the tip with the firmware. There was a firmware file missing. Two
of the required firmaware files came with the kernel (RV710_me.bin 
RV710_pfp.bin), but one were missing (R700_rlc.bin). After installing the third
firmare file XV works just fine. Thank You for Your help. I'm sorry that I
din't find that out by myself.
