I also have still the same problem here... but now the dmesg-crashdump is gone.
I'm using 3.2-rc2 (git-sources) now on a Gentoo amd64 system. Same result: If I
start X, I get a garbled screen. No crash visible in Xorg.0.log, only this

Just an idea: could this bug be related to the fact that these cards have a
stripped-down BARTS core, a BARTS-LE? Perhaps the driver tries to do some
"forbidden" things ;-)
