The problem is when the screen saver sends the command "poweroff" to the
graphic card, the monitor continuously power off, and on, and off, and on, and
...

I have an ATI/AMD Radeon HD 6950, Arch Linux (x64), Gnome 3.2.0, xorg-server
11.1.1, xf86-video-ati 6.14.2-2

I don't have this problem with Catalyst closed source driver.
