hi all

results for "install tests, number 2" hosts.def file:

   3. Linux, IA-32, Suse 9.1 ftp installation w/ all online updates
   4. XORG-6_7_99_903
   5. passed
   6. passed

for the build test, i get a lot of compile warnings, but no
errors. are any warnings particularly significant that i should
be looking for?




the -O option seems to be busted on the new xreg?  if i run this:

  # ./xreg -projroot /tmp/XorgTEST  -display :2 -xtest -xvfb -O results-903-xvfb

i get this:

./xreg: line 1904: results-903-xvfb/xtest.8bpp.20040828.170048.report: No such file or directory

and the test fails soon after.  same problem on lines 433 and 2050.
if i omit the -O option, the test proceeds fine using the default
'results' directory.

i am now running the xvfb tests and will post summary file in a
few hours.



i also managed to get the xorg server running. after installation
as a normal user, i had to:

  # chown -R root.root /tmp/XorgTEST
  # chmod 4755 /tmp/XorgTEST/bin/Xorg

then i edited my /etc/X11/XF86Config to use "kbd" instead of
"Keyboard", and it seems i'm up and running.

i am now running the xorg tests and will post summary file in a
few hours as well.



is there any need to worry about these?

(EE) MGA: Failed to load module "mga_hal" (module does not exist, 0)
