can we also confirm that the DDX changes from the DRI tree work?  I'm
been meaning to test radeon mergedfb at least, but I've been super
busy lately and my laptop has become completely unreliable since
upgrading to fedora core 2.  Plus the last time I tried to check out
the xorg cvs tree it failed somewhere in the build.  It would also be
nice to get the rest of ati's code drop included (r400 support, new
crtc handling, etc.) however, I don't know when I or anyone else will
have time to integrate that.
