[Xorg] cvs won't build on fat

Trying to build on a fat fs - bombed trying to create a link:

 make[2]: Entering directory `/mnt/hda2/temp/XMonolithic/xc/include'
+ mkdir -p ../exports/include/X11
+ cd ../exports/include/X11
+ rm -f DECkeysym.h
+ ln -s ../../../include/DECkeysym.h .
ln: creating symbolic link `./DECkeysym.h' to `../../../include/DECkeysym.h':
Operation not permitted
make[2]: *** [includes] Error 1

Makes sense, fat doesn't support links.  Tinderbox build, so if this isn't
supported, I'll just pull that box.
