I do, its in the 4am crontab.
[root at coyote cf]# ls -l `locate`
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root      25 Sep 29 22:31 /usr/lib/ -> /usr/X11R6/lib/
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root      19 Sep 24 10:49 /usr/src/Mesa-6.0.1/lib/ ->
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 2315261 Sep 24 10:49 /usr/src/Mesa-6.0.1/lib/
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root      26 Sep 29 21:59 /usr/src/xorg-6.8.1/exports/lib/ -> ../../lib/GL/GL/
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root      28 Sep 29 21:59 /usr/src/xorg-6.8.1/exports/lib/ -> ../../lib/GL/GL/
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root      12 Sep 29 21:59 /usr/src/xorg-6.8.1/lib/GL/GL/ ->
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root  560957 Sep 29 21:59 /usr/src/xorg-6.8.1/lib/GL/GL/
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root      12 Sep 29 22:31 /usr/X11R6/lib/ ->
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root  494124 Sep 29 22:19 /usr/X11R6/lib/

So it looks (to me anyway) as if the linkage is to the correct
library as installed by 6.8.1 when I built it and ran checkinstall,
the latest version. I thought I had nuked the Mesa stuff, but I see
the srcs are still there.

I am, always unless I'm 'amanda' to work on that..
