No. It's mostly FYI, so why do you want to 'short circuit' it?

Set the correct DisplaySize in the Monitor section or start the server
with -dpi 150.

Because Fast Writes cause lockups on some machines. This is very
unlikely the cause of the slowness, but you can try Option
"AGPFastWrite".

It isn't shipped by the X.Org tree but can be created for build
customizations.

No caveat is good... The driver doesn't accelerate accumulation buffers
so it marks those visuals as being slow.


What does glxgears -info|grep GL_RENDERER say?
