A few months ago I already found myself in the same situation -
comp.windows.x.annouce is somewhere stuck between heaven and hell and
noone really knows how to get it working again (Kaleb is one of the
registered moderators (but the email account at ICS is now expired since
years). Maybe he knows the details and a way to solve this problem...or
a person who can help somehow...).

My proposal would be that at least three (or four) persons from at least
three or four different companies/institutions/etc. should register as
new moderators.
It's better when more than one person gets assigned to that job. Having
only one person for that job usually results in a single point of
failure (person can be sick, tired, away, lazy, eaten by meateating
snails, run over by truck etc. ... =:-)
I would propose to "distribute" the "job" over people like Alan
Coopersmith, Leon Shiman, Egbert Eich, and myself... is that possible ?

Roland
