X.org 6.8 upgrade - glxinfo with fglrx driver crashes X ?

The problem was introduced 1-2 months ago, when the latest dri code was
imported in the X.org tree. From what I know, only ATi can fix this. They
say that they will release a new driver specifically for X.org 6.8.
