Xorg 7.0 RC0 on powerbook yields garbled text

No I'm using the radeon. I see the r300 in the source tree, but it
doesn't seem to be installed in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers with all
the others.
I also realize I didn't make it clear that I'm running GNU/Linux on my
powerbook.
