Cygwin/X can be compiled with the windows OpenGL library instead of mesa.
I think Darwin uses a similar approach. For cygwin there is still some work
to do to make it look perfect (partly visible windows, offseting the GL 
context and working around some limitations) but the first steps are already
made.

The dispatch table is a mapping GLX call -> OpenGL function? Something
that is done in g_disptab.c now?
