help with building X11.app & XDarwin.app w/ x.org on OSX

fwiw, with the patches naiively 'in place' on the latest xorg snapshot, X11 & 
XDarwin both were created, but the XDarwin.app had no embedded binary, and 
neither would launch ...

with your comments, it seems 'wait a bit' is the operative recommendation ...
