Trident CyberBladeXP4 status?

That's too bad and given no other choice I can live with not having
acceleration, but I'm curious as to what state it's in and if there's
anything I can do to improve it.  Are there docs that we can get?  (I
remember some crap with Trident a few years ago but thought it was
cleared up.)  Is the XP4 different enough from the other CyberbladeXP
chips that the code in xp_accel.c is useless, or could someone make
some tweaks and add some conditionals to get even basic acceleration
working?  (I think just screen->screen copies would help out
significantly, as font display seems fast enough currently.)

Do you think the video overlay problem
(https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=736) related to this?
Or is that simply an unrelated bug?

I'm willing to invest my time and perhaps a portion of my budget into
this.  Is there anything at all I can do?
