Has anyone ever played with Xv's events, especially XvVideoNotify?
Google is scaringly quiet about this...

I don't seem to receive any events in my app, despite
XvSelectVideoNotify set to "true". The server calls TryClientEvent with
the correct client ptr and "reason" in xvmain.c, but the event doesn't
seem to get through for some reason.

Before I dig into this, anyone?
