Modular xserver mouse support?

All,

I am currently running the modular xserver (kdrive) and ran into a  
problem when upgrading my system to 2.6.14 from 2.6.13.

My mouse worked perfectly under 2.6.13 but no longer works under  
2.6.14.  I turned on tracing in the xserver and see events are  
getting to the driver, but it does not like what it sees.

Has anyone run into this problem?  It seems the ps2 protocol is not  
being understood under the new kernel.
