Not sure if this is the problem you're facing, but last time I tried 
forcing BusType to PCI with a AGP radeon I got a lockup too (on a 
bog-standard x86 though, but I know it worked in the past). I guess 
there's no agp gart driver for your chipset? And the INVALID IO 
ALLOCATION doesn't look good to me neither (I think I've seen similar 
reports about this). No idea what's up with that though.
