Intel 915G with Dell 2005FPW TFT no bigger resolution then 1280x1024

I have removed the extra " and restarted my XServer but there was no 
change. only 1280x1024. after that i used 915resolution tool to change 
the mode 58 (1280x1024) into 1680x1050. after that my tft cant display 
the resolution.

any ideas what i can do?
