The X11R6.9/X11R7 release schedule was updated a while back and we're
still working toward RC1, so the final release is still several weeks
away.  However, we are making very good progress now and RC1 should be
ready very soon -- my best guess is within a week or two at the most.
I'll post an update here when we have a solid date for RC1.

One of the requirements for RC1 is that it be a feature complete
release, so if there are any other EXA drivers that we want in the
release, please check them in very soon.

After RC1, only bug fixes will be allowed.
