Why is there something wrong?
Win95/98 has a completly different design - in fact you can write to
graphic hw without even needing a single context switch. However you
pay the price when some application writes somewhere it should not or
the system messes up itself.
Windows-NT3.x had a design similar like X, however thanks to the
design of the Win32 api they were not able to tune it to an acceptable
speed.

I would recommend to get some knowledge about the whole stuff instead
of just generating useless traffic. It seems you don't have understood
much (not saying that I know more ;) ).
