Is there a way to get it to take a modified mode line from cvt on the
DVI output without modifying the source code? I tried various things
but I cannot get away from this:

(**) RADEON(0): RADEONModeInit()
1600x1200     162.00  1600 1664 1856 2160  1200 1201 1204 1250 (24,32)
1600x1200     162.00  1600 1664 1856 2160  1200 1201 1204 1250 (24,32)
(**) RADEON(0): Pitch = 13107400 bytes (virtualX = 1600, displayWidth = 1600)

Seems like it will not ignore DDC even if you tell it to.

p.s. I normally do filesystems, not graphics, so building parts of X is
not something I want to tackle unless I really have to.
