Not every release is a stable release. You can perfectly well release
1.5.0 and declare it beta, and nobody has the right to expect any soak
time whatsoever. In fact, beta releases exist precisely to give that
"soak time". You can make any number of beta releases until you finally
decide that 1.5.7 is the first one that deserves to be called a stable
release. I don't see any problem here.
