Resizing and scrolling very slow when running a compositing manager

same problem here with nvidia GeForce 4200Go! I'm interested to know 
what's causing this. It's very annoying and is the prime reason why I'm 
not using xgl+compiz at the moment.

hope someone can address this issue. I'm happy to provide details of my 
configuration.
