Compiling for MS platform

I need to compile Xserver to run under Windows.  I know that there are
the cygwin/x binaries, but I will soon be modifying the code to suite
my needs.  I also found the "xwin" directory in the tarball containing
the code for the xserver.

Is there any website that gives a guideline as how to compile X-server
for a windows platform?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
