It would help one problem, but a bigger problem is that the tree
created by symlink-mesa.sh does not closely resemble the actual Mesa
tree. Some dirty hacks would have to remain. And I really don't know
what's needed to build glx or how/why the symlinked tree is setup the
way it is. I just know how to hack around with bash and make.
Certainly what Kristian is proposing is a much more viable long term
solution.
I'll play around a little more with adding the headers to the sources
file in my local tree and see if I can make a go of it.
