I've got an identical card and identical message in the log. Also
glxinfo give a
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b
That said, opengl apps work better than ever since I've upgraded to
Edgy (Xorg.7.1.1 / ati driver 6.6.1)
