Dear List-members,
I have a simple problem which should be easy to solve, but I'm trying it
now for several days and I was not successful.
I use X.org (7.0.0) on debian 2.6.16 on an Asus L3500D (all works great!
Thanks to the developers!).
I attached a USB number pad, which works great- except that I am not
able to activate it separately from the keyboard, so I have to press
every time the mum-lk key (If I don't, I have the number pad activated
on the laptop keyboard as well, and that`s not the meaning of a number pad)
cat /proc/bus/input/devices
gives
I: Bus=0011 Vendor=0001 Product=0001 Version=ab41
N: Name="AT Translated Set 2 keyboard"
P: Phys=isa0060/serio0/input0
S: Sysfs=/class/input/input0

B: KEY=4 2000000 3802078 f840d001 f2ffffdf ffefffff ffffffff fffffffe
B: MSC=10
B: LED=7
for the keyboard and
I: Bus=0003 Vendor=049f Product=0024 Version=0001

B: EV=120003
B: KEY=10000 7 ff800000 7ff febeffdf ffefffff ffffffff fffffffe
B: LED=1f
for the keypad.
Thank you very much for your help!
Markus
