Xserver starting Xgl crashes - stack dump

I have managed to crash the Xserver. here is the stack dump

To trip this crash:

I have .xinitrc pointing to a wrapper script to run Xgl then the Xgl wrapper 
script runs startkde. But doing this causes the below stack dump.
