I tested the latest patches on rv200 (Radeon 7500) and r420 (Radeon x800
something). Behaviour is the same with both cards.

Both 2D and 3D work perfectly, except I'm seeing the same software
cursor crash that Kevin already reported. The backtrace is the same, but
since I don't know whether my logfiles might reveal more information than
Kevin's, I'm attaching them anyway.

Playing with the ColorTiling option doesn't change its behaviour.
Ditto for switching from 24bpp to 16bpp.
