xorg 6.8 (fedora core 4): intel i915g card + dell 2005fpw

hi,

i have got 2 dell optiplex sx280 clients with intel i915g graphiccard 
and an dell 2005fpw monitor. both are installed with fedore core 4.

i am not able to run the monitor correclty. there is always an black bar 
(2cm) on the left side of the screen.

i have played around with x config but doesnt get better :-(

steps  i have done:

install 855resolution (also tried 915resolution tool) tool:

set bios 855resolution 5c 1680 1050

edit xorg.conf (attached)

but nothing work really well :-(

i have connected monitors via analog cable. because dvi only works with 
1028x1024 for me :-(
