Hi,
I tried adding --enable-install-setuid --enable-debug

xorg-server-X11R7.1-1.1.0: ./configure CFLAGS="-g -O0" \
   --with-mesa-source=/home/russell/SRC/Mesa-6.5 --enable-install-setuid --enable-debug

but i get new errors:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../../include -I../../../include -I../../../include

The first error comes from:
   xorg-server-X11R7.1-1.1.0/hw/xfree86/common/xf86Debug.c:48

_X_EXPORT void xf86Break1(void)
{
}

/usr/local/include/X11/Xfuncproto.h:

# define _X_EXPORT      __attribute__((visibility("default")))
# define _X_HIDDEN      __attribute__((visibility("hidden")))
# define _X_INTERNAL    __attribute__((visibility("internal")))

I've installed fixesproto-X11R7.1-4.0 and xproto-X11R7.1-7.0.5 into /usr/local,
and have PKG_CONFIG_PATH="/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig".
