Override SHIFT + Backspace

Hi all.

I've killed my X session probably 10 times today by accidentally hitting
SHIFT + Backspace. I've been typing lots of stuff in capitals, and for
some reason I can't bring myself to let go of the shift key before
hitting backspace if I make a mistake. I've been swearing loudly
afterwards, but alas this doesn't bring my work back :) Is there some
way to override this key combo?
