question about XevIE

Hi,
I've been reading the specification of XevIE and I haven't figured out one
thing:
when you receive a mouse event, change its position and send it back to the
server, does it
recalculate which window should receive it according to this new position,
or it just sends it
to the same window which would have received the original event?
I am using Xgl to allow the user to work on a 3D transformed desktop and it
would be nice not to have
to query the window tree to know which event should actually receive the
transformed event
