I think you are looking for Xdmx. You may want to use something like :

Xdmx :2 +xinerama -fp "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc" -display 192.168.0.1:0 
-display 192.168.0.2:0

(192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 being the address IP of the two hosts 
involved in this example).
