This looks like a bug with ATI's closed-source driver rather than a
problem with xorg, so this list can't help.
There's an (unofficial, though ATI is rumoured to watch it) bugzilla for
ATI's linux driver, http://ati.cchtml.com/ and in fact your bug seems to
be there already, http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=296, you can
also try the linux section of the discussion forum of www.rage3d.com, or
try some official ATI channels.
