Please read through the xorg archives.  This question comes up at
least weekly.  the problem is that the i810 driver (as it stands now)
relies on the video bios to set modes.  If the bios doesn't have a
mode for 1152x768 it won't work.  You will need a hack like
i855resolution or its variants.
