what version of Xorg are you using?  can you post your log?  There
were quite a few problems with the radeon driver in 6.9/7.0 that have
been fixed in cvs.

Screen 0 is the first crtc (lvds or internal tmds, or DAC). Screen 1
is the second crtc (DAC or external tmds).
