inputproto-1.3-branch (no changes), libXi-1.0-branch (no changes),
server-1.2-branch, all three of which have been announced on
xorg-announce with explicit branch nominations; server-1.2-branch has
been discussed a bit here also, and even has a wiki page.

The input drivers haven't been branched. If evdev needs another
release, then that's okay, because it should build fine against an old
server; ditto mouse. keyboard hasn't really seen any changes in forever
(the only one I can think of lately being the addition of support for
the Hurd), but would require branching if it did.

Cheers,
Daniel
