It doesn't seem to work:
$ setxkbmap -print
xkb_keymap {
xkb_keycodes { include "xfree86+aliases(qwerty)" };
xkb_types { include "complete+numpad(microsoft)" };
xkb_compat { include "complete" };
xkb_symbols { include "pc/pc(pc105)+pc/us" };
xkb_geometry { include "pc(pc105)" };
};
$ setxkbmap -option numpad:nomicrosoft
$ setxkbmap -print
xkb_keymap {
xkb_keycodes { include "xfree86+aliases(qwerty)" };
xkb_types { include "complete+numpad(microsoft)" };
xkb_compat { include "complete" };
xkb_symbols { include "pc/pc(pc105)+pc/us" };
xkb_geometry { include "pc(pc105)" };
};
