i810 driver, mergedfb and video crashes

So I've got all my dependencies sorted out and I *think* I'm running
with the latest i180 from git.

And now for the bad news: switching vts when running in mergedfb causes
the driver to crash when I switch back to x.

Attached is my xorg log showing the exception report.  Please let me
know if there is anything I can do to debug/diagnose this further.
