Erik,

I don't think you need XTestExtension1. However, the source is
still in 6.8.2 (xc/lib/Xext/XTestExt1.c and still in the Imakefile.
It should build. Although I notice it is not built on the Red Hat
6.8.2 server.

Have you compiled the 6.8.2 distribution? If XTestExtension1 didn't
build have a look in xc/config/cf at the config files for your
platform and see if -DXTESTEXT1 is set. I think that's all there is
to it.
