sessreg build fails - unknown command 'u' in filenames.sed

Grabbed the complete git tree this morning @ 1350 UMT via git_xorg script.  Began building via the ./util/modular/build.sh script.  Script borkfed @ sessreg....

make[1]: Entering directory /build/Xorg/app/sessreg .....

sed -f filenames.sed -e .....   < sessreg.man > sessreg.1
sed: file filenames.sed line 24: Unknown command: 'u'
make[1]: *** [sessreg.1] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/build/Xorg/app/sessreg'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Attached is ./app/sessreg/config.log...

Suggestions?  Just getting into building this for the first time...  I apologize if this is a 'user headspace error' on my part.
